ActiveGrid Lamp Server
Changing or hiding the root page message after successful server install
When one navigates to the root of a successful ActiveGrid server installation, you see this message:
Congratulations! If you are seeing this page, it means the installation of the ActiveGrid Server was successful.
Is that a static page that can be edited? I would like to change it or hide it.

Top ranking on search engines
Normaly we use meta tag on the web pages to have our website in top 10 - 20 positions on search engines (like yahoo, google etc). Can we optimize our web pages, developed in Activegrid, for top ranking in search engines? If yes then how can we get it? If anybody have idea please provide some information regarding that.
Thanks,

Server Deployment in PLAIN English
Please, don't see PLAIN as another acronym to be pulled to pieces.
I read the posts on this node http://dev.activegrid.com/community/?q=node/243 concerning deployment of an AG application to a server.
Somehow I experience brainfreeze (maybe due to South Africa going through a proper cold winter), could someone please just say Yes or No on the following:

Proxy Caching
Is there a way to prevent proxy caching? My xforms are being cached off by our proxy and I have no way to see changes. This often happens when I make javascript errors but I am able to browse to them by entering the URL of the js file and reloading the page. However I cannot do that to xforms.

Some architectural questions
Hi I have some doubts regarding the server product.
Some of these questions might seem odd, because probably I'm thinking in "old" aplications arch, with some old custommers. Anyway :-)
1st) When refering to Java deployment to JBoss , Websphere and Weblogic, do we need the ActiveGrid server? Can we deploy the WAR created by Activegrid Studio without forcing the custommer to buy/add the ActiveGrid studio to there pool of services?
2nd) If an ActiveGrid server is necessary, can it integrate and co-exist with already installed JBoss, Webshere?

I need help deploying an application
I need help deploying an application that uses a mysql db. The application runs fine in the studio but when I transfer the app to the server and use the deployment script I can't see pages that make calls to the database. The error log show ('1046, No database selected').
Can someone walk me through how to properly deploy the app in 2.3.1. I've used verison 1x in the past and had no problems, but it's been a long time since I've done this.
Thanks.

The 2.3 server gives us an error right after installation
Default setup, right from the package to
/opt/activegrid_8086
After installation we've executed the following:
cd /opt/activegrid_8086/local/deployments
rm *
cp /opt/activegrid_8080/local/deployments/carel.conf .
/opt/activegrid_8086/bin/activegridctl restart --init
So far so good:
root@websrv1:/opt/activegrid_8086# bin/activegridctl restart --init
httpd not running, trying to start
Initializing application at http://localhost:8086/carel
But now we try to open the application from the webbrowser, and we get the following error message:

Running application in IE7
When my client runs our application using internet explorer 7 he keeps getting a yellow warning message on the top of the screen that says that the application wants to use MSXML 5.0.
Even if he clicks on 'trust and execute this activex plugin' the message keeps returning. (Basically the entire screen reloads and you end up back at the beginning).
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get rid of this?

Skinning in ActiveGrid
For one project we'd like to have a dynamically configurable stylesheet where the stylesheet that is returned to the client depends on the name of the database from the deployment.
Any cool ideas on how to do this? Should we create a JavaScript hack to do this, or is there a smarter way.

Dynamically creating XForms
I have the following setup:
1) a table tblhomepageitems (key: hpi_id)
with a list of XForms that users may select
to place on their homepage (dashboard)
hpi_xform contains the STRING with the
name of the xform
2) a table tblhomepage (key: hpg_id) that
contains the XForms that a specific user
has selected:
hpg_med_id <-- reference to user table
hpg_hpi_id <-- reference to specific item
hpg_column <-- in what column do you want it
hpg_sort <-- sorting within the column
3) a table tblmedewerker (key: med_id) that
